July 9, 2018: Indian designer duo, Falguni and Shane Peacock, have launched a new collection, which features a medley between the wants of a Parisian queen and the grand palace of Junargh.
Taking inspiration from Junagarh in Rajasthan, which is filled with peacocks, colors and carnival assemblies, the collection offers sheer luxury of attire fit for a queen on any street or city. Varnishes with refined stones and pearls, they are resplendent with 13th century wonders of romance.
The chrome applique technique on the collection was derived from the traditional mela from the walls of the Juna Mahal.
Muted tones of prancing pastel colours, soft shades of yellow, mauve, taupe, ice blue, seafoam, fawn, light salmon, blush, ash grey, carnation pink are complemented with coral and stark hues like brick red, fuchsia, chestnut, Tuscan gold and cerulean blue. The looks are unique and innovational.
Marked in tradition, these looks embrace modern Indian brides with confidence and certainty.
