June 30, 2016: Gucci is pleased to announce that Chinese singer and actress, Chris Lee, is their new ambassador for timepieces and jewelry in Asia.
In her new role, Chris Lee has been photographed by photographer Colin Dodgson wearing items from the House’s timepieces and jewelry collections. For watches, the GG2570, which is named in homage to Gucci Creative Director Alessandro Michele’s lucky number, 25, and Gucci’s hallmark decade, the 70s. In another image, Chris wears the G-Timeless automatic, which features a mix of decorative bees and a heart with stars on the dial, combining the vibrant, striking creativity of the House with the tradition of Swiss watchmaking.
For jewelry, Chris Lee wears pieces from the Icon Fine Jewelry collection. The selection includes rings, bangles and a matching pendant chain necklace in 18kt pink gold and white enamel. In a refreshing update to this iconic collection, small flower and leaf motifs have been added to Icon’s engraved ‘G’ motif.
The campaign will break across Asia beginning mid-July.
