Oetker Collection’s first Italian property, Hotel La Palma, is an exquisite and remarkable addition to its growing collection of bespoke properties. Just a few steps away from the iconic ‘Piazzetta’, Hotel La Palma is located in the heart of Capri. Set amid the scenic beauty and bustle of the island, the luxury resort strives to offer an intriguing insight into the dreamy town of Capri.
Oetker Collection, in association with partner-owners Reuben Brothers, renovated a historic building into a chic 50-room and suite establishment. Originally Capri’s first hotel – Locanda Pagano – built 200 years ago in 1822, it was reimagined into the new Oetker Collection’s space.
Working closely with acclaimed Italian craftsmen and local artisans, renowned interior designer Francis Sultana breathed new life into the property. The space is awash with soothing hues of Mediterranean blue, green, and turquoise that elevate its tranquil and natural aesthetic. All rooms lead into marble and bronze-lined bathrooms. Artworks by Italian painter Luisa Lambri and handcrafted rattan furniture by Bonacina add to the Italian glam.
The hotel features two restaurants and bars, its own private beach club, a newly built pool deck, and a spa. Famed chef Gennaro Esposito will, together with his team, offer the most wonderful Italian cuisine to guests. The menu emphasises fresh, locally sourced produce, with Italian classics such as aubergine parmigiana, lobster pasta, and salt-crusted catch of the day. Additionally, Hotel La Palma has a brand-new pool deck with an attractive pool bar that pays homage to the “classic Capri” of the bygone era.
Guests can end their day with a relaxing and holistic treatment at La Palma Spa. Three treatment rooms, including a double suite, and a separate beauty cabin will be available in the wellness area.
