June 15, 2017: French photographer, painter and poet Dora Marr was involved with artist Pablo Picasso, and now her ring, handcrafted by him, is up for auction
After Marr threw the ring in the Seine, Picasso designed a ring to replace it. In the center of the ring is a detailed portrait of Marr, and it has remained in her collection up until now. Portrait de Dora Marr is up now for sale with an estimate of €300,000-500,00 (336,222-560,370 USD).
