Prime Collector, the first application for collectors of art and fine collectibles, launched
prime collector iphone appFebruary 12, 2015: Prime Art Capital, a Singapore based art advisory and investment management firm, has launched Prime Collector, an iOS compatible international luxury lifestyle application that enables fine art, jewellery, wine and sports memorabilia collectors, to manage their treasure trove. It encourages the collectors to organize their precious compendium on a first hand basis.

Users, through this app, can systematically track and manage their collectibles in various fields like art, fine wine, vintage fashion, jewellery, stamps, coins, cars, furniture, antiquities. The collector has to document his/her collection by taking photographs and uploading these images along with details of everything from the value and provenance of the object, to its location, restoration history, etc. There are customized database fields that are unique for each collection category. The privacy and security are maintained with proficiency at a high level.

Apart from cataloguing collectables, collectors, via the app’s estate planning feature, can also nominate a trust or a beneficiary for each item in their collection. The application also tracks insurance deadlines, valuation and taxation schedules on an easy to use grid calendar, thus making the life of a collector easier and manageable. Social media compatibility provides an option for the collector to share items of interest on all the virtual platforms.

The app is free to download from the Apple store via a registration through Facebook, Twitter, Google or Sina Weibo. Once the registration is complete the user can store data of 5 collectibles without paying a fee.
