May 31, 2016: Shangri-La Hotel Bengaluru has launched roof-top bar-lounge Hype. Hype is the newest addition to already existing all-day-dining café, Lobby Lounge, Yataii, Caprese, Ssaffron and Chinese specialty restaurant Shang Palace in the Shangri-La Hotel Bengaluru.
Perched on the roof of the hotel with a split level deck, it offers a panoramic view of the city. Hype features tailormade cocktails, an extensive international wine-by-glass menu and an array of food from across the globe ranging from cheese platters and kebabs to buns and baos. A chilled bar is also available with sushi and sashimi, and dessert to finish the evening.
Sprawled over 5,220 square feet, Hype offers 130 seats with both indoor and outdoor dining. The interior is complemented by glass partitions and a partial roof.
Hype will have an in-house mixologist who will ensure that every guest is served their customized cocktails.
