January 12, 2016: German watchmaker, A. Lange & Soehne, has launched the new 1815 Tourbillion to commemorate the 200th birthday of its founder, Ferdinand Adolph Lange.
Limited to 30 watches, this Handwerkskunst edition marks A. Lange & Söhne’s first creation combining a stop-seconds device with a zero-reset mechanism. Uniting both features into a single design allows its users to stop and set the timepiece with one-second accuracy.
The special-edition model donning 21 sparkling jewels differentiates from the previous 2014 collection with a brand new black-rhodiumed pink gold dial. The dial is decorated using elegant tremblage engraving and met with a large one-minute tourbillion garnished with a dazzling diamond endstone. The L102.1 manufactured caliber timepiece is presented in a pink-gold case with a 39.5-millimeter diameter.
