There are birthdays and then there are birthdays. Italian celebrità, a top fashion influencer and a footwear designer, birthday girl Chiara Ferragni got serenaded by Fendi and her family at the brand’s flagship boutique in Rome.
The new episode in Fendi’s Peekaboo campaign shows Ms. Ferragni been escorted inside the Fendi boutique surreptitiously by her husband Fedez, a rapper and song producer, where all the women in her life, her mother and two sisters, surprise Ms. Ferragni with a private party that includes glitter, bags, cakes and her beloved French bulldog Matilda.
We love the groovy tunes of “Family Affair” by Mary J. Blige – a perfect rendition for the glamorous ‘do’ that assembled at the Fendi boutique. From a musician to a thriller novelist, it was a small, but high profile crowd.
The iconic Fendi Peekaboo of course takes center stage in the video, but subtly. There is Ms. Ferragni taking out her purple sequinned phone from the interiors of a blush blue Peekaboo – perhaps for an Instagram post where she has 16.4 million followers. And there are the hot pink Peekaboos getting camera-ready right next to the cake.
This glamorous video ought to be seen, so here we are with the exclusive – absolutely exclusive – look at this party!
