Following the Chronographe Médical comes the Instrument de Vitesse. And here’s where it gets interesting. Not surprisingly, the brand found inspiration in vintage cars.
The Instrument de Vitesse carries the appearance of a classic three-hand chronograph, but a tachymeter scale encircling the dial’s outer edge reveals its true timekeeping capabilities. This is a stopwatch in its purest form, designed to measure short bursts of time, perfect for timing sprints or races, clocking in at a maximum of 60 seconds.
Sporting a refined retro sports look, the timepiece is housed in a 39 mm stainless steel case, measuring a mere 9.27 mm in thickness, much because of the slender design of its 4.20 mm manually wound Manufacturer caliber. The crown also functions as the watch’s single pusher, initiating the central second’s hand.
Available in two versions, each limited to just 25 pieces, the first variation features an ebony-black dial adorned with rhodium-plated Arabic numerals, creating a striking contrast against their white hue. Paired with a caramel calfskin strap, it exudes classic elegance.
The second version, presented on a midnight-blue nubuck strap, showcases an ivory-white dial with applied Arabic numerals outlined in black, producing a captivating three-dimensional effect. Both versions feature luminescent coating on the hour and minute hands as well as the applied numerals.
With the Formula 1 season going on, this is the perfect watch to indulge in!
