Arnold & Son’s Globetrotter Gold is a glowing atlas with magnificent arches

The dual time zone watch pays an ode to John Arnold’s marine chronometers, which embarked on English naval ships in the 18th century

July 12, 2021: Launching a watch as artistic as precise, Arnold & Son’s Globetrotter Gold is a limited edition with only 28 Globetrotter Gold models created in 18 carat red gold.

Arnold & Sons Globetrotting Gold

A world time model with a golden touch, the Globetrotter Gold symbolizes our planet like a finely constructed atlas. The lands shown on the surface have been precisely sculpted, and they serve as a background to the global time dual time zone display, along with the deep, hand-painted waters.

The Globetrotter Gold has a diameter of 45 mm. In the middle, an enormous open-worked bridge etched in red gold holds the dome symbolizing the Northern Hemisphere from side to side.

On two surfaces, the appliqué indexes are etched in red gold and coated in Super-LumiNova. The dial's bottom section, which circles the globe map, has a delicate sunny texture in blue hues, and the ring displaying universal time is made of clear sapphire.

The Globetrotter Gold crossways bridge has a unique design. The bridge is made up of one gold plated core piece. The arch's flat sections are glossy, while its edges are satin-finished. It was completely designed, manufactured, ornamented, assembled, adjusted, and fixed at Arnold & Son's plant in La Chaux-de-Fonds.

Its skeletonized oscillating weight is composed of 22-karat gold and also has the Clou de Paris guilloché design.

The watch is a classy interpretation of global timekeeping where minimalism combines with incredible ease.
