Following shortly after is the contemporary art auction titled ‘Visionaries,’ set for June 23-24, 2024. Here, bidders can expect to encounter works by some of the leading contemporary artists, showcasing their innovative and thought-provoking creations.
In the spotlight at this contemporary Indian art auction are several remarkable pieces that promise to enthrall collectors and art enthusiasts alike. Some highlights include Bharti Kher’s untitled work, Lot 116, created in 2012 using her signature medium of bindis on painted board (valued at INR 80,00,000 – 1,20,00,000). Additionally, Anish Kapoor’s Mountain (estimated at INR 60,00,000 – 80,00,000) and T V Santhosh’s For A Life Lost Between Bullets And Bombs (Diptych) (priced at INR 25,00,000 – 30,00,000) are expected to garner significant attention.
