September 4, 2020: Audemars Piguet, the luxury Swiss watch manufacturer, has introduced ten refreshing new timepieces to their CODE 11.59 collection that was launched last year. The colored dials in burgundy, blue, purple and grey add an elegant and a contemporary touch.
Including in these ten new iterations are two-tone watches in 18k white and rose gold. Designed for both men and women, these ergonomic watches come in glare-proof complex double curved sapphire crystal and are 41mm in diameter. The lacquer-finish dials are a graceful combination of handfinished matte and mirror surface, which is the signature style of Audemars Piguet.
The cases are beautifully contrasted by the hues of the dial – burgundy watches with 18-carat white gold base while purple and blue with 18-carat pink gold. Every new wrist-watch comes with an alligator strap matching with the color of the dial.
The two-tone watches, a rarity among the brand’s collections over the years, come in grey sunburst dials in light and dark tones. The 18-carat pink gold octagonal middle case complements the white gold case and lugs while 18-carat pink gold hour-markers and hands add a glimmer of colour.
The Selfwinding Chronographs and Selfwinding date, hour, minute and second models both come with a power reserve of 70 hours and water resistance of 30 meters. The Selfwinding Chronograph models are equipped with calibre 4401, an integrated chronograph with column wheel and flyback function that enables to restart the chronograph without stopping and resetting it first. The micro-mechanisms are visible from the sapphire caseback.
The rose and white gold hour/minute/seconds model is priced at $26,800. The chronograph in rose and white gold is priced at $42,400. The three-hand two-tone watch comes at $26,800, and the two-tone chronograph is $42,400.
