May 22, 2018: Automobile Lamborghini added to its collaboration with Riva 1920 and added two new sideboards to the Authentic Living collection by designer Karim Rashid. Presented at Salone del Mobile, the new sideboards are Inkline (designed for the living area) and Rivar (for office).
Each piece of furniture reflects the design of Lamborghini sports cars, combining workmanship and natural materials such as walnut, solid wood and black leather. The internationally-famous designer, Karim Rashid, perfectly embodies the Informal Luxury concept of the Automobile Lamborghini lifestyle, and hence, was chosen for the collaboration.
The Inkline design sideboard is a solid and multilayer wood, characterized by rounded sides and tops surrounding the six drawers. Assembled with dovetail joints and equipped with shaped fonts, there is a central open space that divides the two rows of drawers. Inkline is finished with an oil based, natural wax of vegetable origin with pine extracts.
The Rivar design sideboard is a solid and multilayer wood composed of two side doors and central drawers, which is characterized by sinuous and rounded lines. There is also a practical and functional open compartment under the top. It is also finished with an oil based, natural wax.
