July 15, 2021: Combining the characteristic luxury, comfort and high-level performance of an X5 Sports Activity Vehicle with edition-exclusive equipment and details, and a distinct and aggressive exterior design, the 2022 BMW X5 Black Vermillion is unmissable.
Focused on a unique interplay between black and red, the BMW Shadowline high-gloss black kidney grille with red vertical bars creates an eye-catching contrast against the BMW Individual Frozen Black Metallic paint finish.
The high-powered character of the X5 Black Vermilion edition is further emphasised by the standard M Sport content, composed of an aggressively styled front and rear bumpers as well as an M high-gloss extended Shadowline exterior trim. With 22-inch, double-spoke 742M light alloy wheels having an edition-exclusive Orbit Grey matte finish and high-gloss red M Sport brake calipers, it creates a striking visual highlight. And the sound matches the looks is an M Sport exhaust system.
The interiors of the cabin of this limited-edition BMW X5 showcase additional exclusive elements such as the BMW Individual Full Merino Black leather with red piping and contrast stitching for the front and rear seats. To complete the look, the front and rear floor mats have been finished with red binding. And the cupholder cover bears a finely crafted Edition logo in a BMW Individual Piano Black finish to resonate the limited model’s exclusivity.
Providing a sporty yet sophisticated accent are the glass controls for the iDrive Controller, the automatic gear selector and the Start/Stop button; and the BMW Carbon Fiber Trim which is not regularly available on the X5 40i model. Ensuring comfortable travel for the driver and passengers are standard multi-contour ventilated seats, alongside the M Alcantara Anthracite headliner providing an exceptionally sophisticated ambience.
The model is scheduled to be produced in the US for September – December 2021, with approximately 350 units reserved for the US market.
