BMW launches Navigation system in its cars as BMW Motorrad sets to enter India
October 27, 2010 – BMW is stretching out it’s tentacles to capture the market and regain its number one position in India. BMW has recently launched the BMW Navigation Professional as a standard feature in all BMW 7 Series models. The system operates through the on-board iDrive control with integrated Global Positioning System (GPS) and a full-colour 10.2-inch high-resolution display, instrument cluster and rear-seat navigation control. The system will subsequently be offered in other BMW models as well.

Another news from the BMW stable is the launch of their motorcycles in India. BMW Motorrad will start its sales activities from December 2010. With Deutsche Motoren in Delhi and Navnit Motors in Mumbai and Bangalore, BMW Motorrad is relying on two BMW Group partners. BMW Motorrad will initially offer the R and K series as well as the superbike S 1000 RR.
