November 17, 2015: American luxury cosmetics brand, Bobbi Brown, has launched the Intensive Skin Serum Foundation SPF 40, which will help women find their perfect combination of skincare and skintone correct foundation for a flawless complexion.
The Intensive Skin Serum Foundation SPF 40 is a fusion of skincare and makeup with supercharged serum ingredients, including Cordyceps Mushroom, a powerful tonic used in traditional Chinese medicine, along with Ms Brown’s signature skin-tone correct pigments. For centuries, practitioners of TCM have been tapping into the energy and health-enhancing properties of this super mushroom, which is now available for the first time in a foundation outside of China.
The foundation is made through a cutting edge bi-phase cold fusion process that allows the skincare actives to stay potent, while fusing seamlessly with foundation pigments. The result is an extra-fine emulsion formula that feeds skin with energizing Cordyceps Mushroom, radiance restoring Bamboo Grass and moisturizing Lychee extracts. Skin-tone correct pigments float over the skin’s surface, rather than settling in for a silky feel and fresh natural look. Skin looks firmer, smoother, radiant and feel its healthiest. Plus, it’s formulated with a high level of SPF 40 coverage to protect skin from UV rays.
According to Ms Brown, after cleansing and moisturizing, apply a small amount of foundation around the nose and mouth, and anywhere you see redness or unevenness. Blend with a foundation brush, sponge or fingertips.
Available in multiple skin shades to choose from, it costs INR 5,240.
