Burberry launches its Scarf Bar and two new Trench Coats

Burberry Scarf Bar 2015

September 16, 2015: Burberry has expanded its two iconic products to launch The Burberry Scarf Bar and two new trench coats.

The Burberry Scarf Bar offers customers an expanded range of classic and lightweight cashmere designs, all made in Scotland. Launched with a new range of colours and prints as well as a variety of thread colours for monogramming, customers can choose to create their own Burberry scarf exactly the way they want it, for the first time.

The Burberry Scarf Bar, in-store and online, features a selection of over 30 colours, in classic and lightweight cashmere, including the iconic heritage shades – Camel, Stone, Charcoal, Navy and Parade Red.

The monogramming service allows personalisation of the expanded range of scarves with embroidery in over 30 shades of thread with up to three letters, in two font sizes. If buying the scarf online, customers can use their responsive online monogramming tool for the purpose. The tool will automatically recommended monogramming thread colours, based on the selected scarf design, and preview the personalised initials on the chosen scarf in real time.

And also, Burberry has introduced two new colours to its iconic British-made Heritage Trench Coat Collection – Navy and Parade Red – expanding the existing Honey, Stone, Black palette, marking the first time new colours have been added to the iconic range in its history.

The Burberry trench coat is made in Castleford, a town in the north of England, by expert workers who combine traditional techniques with modern technological developments. More than 100 highly skilled processes are completed to make each individual trench coat.
