Italian jeweler Bulgari recently presented an enchanting line of most valuable and exquisite high jewelry at Palazzo Ducale in Venice. The Mediterranea features 400 spectacular, one-of-a-kind high jewels studded with striking stones and dashing designs, and high end watches.
Evoking the beauty of the Mediterranean, the collection pays homage to the Maison’s history and heritage, showcasing its awe inspiring intricacy of workmanship and innovation. The guests of the event included several celebrities such as Yifei Liu, Hikari Mori, Yang Yang, and Bvlgari ambassadors Zendaya, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Anne Hathaway and Lisa of BlackPink.
The collection, that was influenced by the Maison’s founder, Sotirio Bulgari’s journey from Greece to Italy, was unveiled in Venice, the city that has been the center of cultural diffusion. The city has forged a connection between east and west through trade of precious treasures and textiles, bringing together different cultures, distant universes and inspirations. A sublime fusion of the eastern and western cultures, Byzantine and Roman vibes, and the essence of Southern Italy, the collection is meticulously arranged with brilliant colors and rich details.
The Mediterranea collection brings the lavish landscapes and scenic beauty of the Mediterranean region into uniquely crafted creations. The designs are more dynamic in its approach and thoroughly elegant. While the necklaces flow like the strong waves of the sea, magnificent stones bring a powerful and arresting look to the jewels.

The collection is divided into three universes: Southern Radiance, Roman Splendour and East Meets West. While Roman Splendour reiterates Bulgari’s Roman roots with the art of cameo, Southern Radiance goes underwater through white gold and sapphires.
The East Meets West collection, on the other hand, perfectly melds Byzantine and Mughal design influences, to produce an assortment that is vibrant, meticulous and minutely detailed.
Bulgari, yet again, showcases its prowess in high jewelry with a collection that is magnificent in its proportions, color coordination and stone juxtapositions, in a way that not many brands can emulate.
