May 2012: Created seven years ago for the first time, Canali has reintroduced the Kei Jacket in its Spring Summer 2012 collection.
The Kei Jacket is a collection of light and comfortable jackets with clean-cut styling and perfect lines. The lightness of this unlined jacket is the result of research and development to identify new materials that replace those previously used for the inner structures, making them lighter and more natural. It is manufactured in two different fits in order to best fit men with different body types.
The Kei Jacket is also suitable for travel through its fabrics which give comfort and elasticity to prevent it from wrinkling. This summer version takes on the semblance of a shirt, from which it draws both comfort and wearability. The construction follows the roundness of the shoulders and it is shorter than traditional jackets. The use of wool, silk and linen contribute to its lightness, while their combination gives the summer version of the Kei jacket refinement and elegance. The under collar is in white linen-cotton as well as the internal profile of the pocket.
