July 27, 2012: Cartier has introduced the Declaration D’Un Soir fragrance for men, which is a variation on the fresh, spicy and woody notes of Déclaration by Cartier.
This masculine scent is apt for grand evenings. Created by Cartier perfumer Mathilde Laurent, its ingredients endow a man with a heady blend of boundless bravado, imagination, strength, gentleness and ardour.
The pepper in the fragrance lights up the spirit, while sandalwood adds gentleness. A floral hint of rose heightens sensitivity. The hints of cumin and nutmeg, on the other hand, increase desire.
The cut glass bottle denotes character and strength. The bevelled lines, polished edges and sculpted facets of this imperious bottle highlights the perfume within for all to see. It is, actually, the stylised shape of a heart.
