November 21, 2014: The Chanel Makeup Creation Studio has drawn inspiration from the feather’s wispy softness for a collection filled with subtle shades, embellished with gold and silver.
Called Collection Plumes Précieuses De Chanel, the collection includes Camélia De Plumes – a subtle platinum shade pressed powder marked with a feather motif in the shape of a camellia flower. Along with a fiery red, the lipstick shades also includes Rouge Allure Volage, a fresh and sensual peachy pink.
Five shades form a surprising palette for eyes. A silvery white and an antique gold illuminate eyes and enhance both the cold and warm tones of the collection, while a duo of grays, one soft and lavender, the other intense with dark purple reflections, blend together to create a tender or sculpted look. An absolute black enhances every beauty look with a touch of sophistication.
The Stylo Yeux Waterproof Or Blanc draws a smooth line making eyes look bigger. The Illusion D'ombre Envol is a peach shade as light as a feather that shimmers on eyelids – can be worn alone or in combination with other shades. The Inimitable Intense Essential Noir mascara enhances lashes in their every dimension.
The cheekbones are simply illuminated with Caresse, a soft and natural peach tone subtly brightened with silver pearl. The nails are swept with a blazing red which adds the final touch to this festive seduction.
