Chopard has unveiled a mesmerizing collection at Watches & Wonders 2024. Unlike last year, the focus has been to create an exquisite array of jewelry watches that reflect the brand’s generations-long expertise. So here’s a lowdown.
Among the highlights is the expansion of the Alpine Eagle collection with a chic new addition. The Alpine Eagle XL Chrono model features a 44 mm-diameter case and a striking “Rhône Blue” dial, which draws inspiration from the majestic power of the eagle and the breathtaking beauty of the Alps. In alignment with Chopard’s commitment to environmental conservation, proceeds from sales of this model will support the Alpine Eagle Foundation.
A pure celebration of Joie de Vivre, the Happy Sport undergoes a vibrant reinvention. Two new limited editions, each limited to 250 pieces, enchant with flamboyant pink and luminous blue hues. Fusing the art of jewelry-making with horology, these Happy Sport models in Lucent Steelâ„¢ feature a meticulously crafted 33 mm-diameter case, designed according to the principles of harmony defined by the golden ratio, and are powered by the Chopard 09.01-C self-winding movement with a 42-hour power reserve.
Not cutting back on the diamonds, Chopard even presented the Ice Cube collection – a contemporary vision of jewelry, characterized by clean lines and minimalist, almost architectural shapes inspired by the geometric perfection of the cube. The collection introduces new ring variations in all three gold colors.
The impeccably precise and elegantly feminine Imperiale collection presents stiff competition with timepieces. It has a 36 mm-diameter case in diamond-set ethical 18-carat white gold that beats the Chopard 96.17-C movement powering displays on dainty mother-of-pearl and enamel marquetry dials.
Embracing a vintage charm, the L.U.C XPS Forest Green exudes timeless sophistication with its enchanting dial and traditional Chopard design elements. The “Chronometer” inscription attests to the exceptional accuracy of the L.U.C 96.12-L caliber, certified by COSC’s stringent tests.
Chopard’s L’Heure du Diamant collection showcases the artistry of diamond setting, encircling the watch with radiant brilliance. It is powered by the Chopard 10.01-C mechanical manual-winding movement renowned for its thinness.
Every timepiece in Chopard’s box is a precious gem.
