May 17, 2013: Presenting precious metals and stones in various scintillating avatars, Damiani has launched four new collections at Baselworld 2013.
The D.Lace collection, handmade by the Damiani goldsmiths, consists of rings, bracelets, pendants and earrings whose clean shapes combine with gold and semi-precious stones. The collection re-works part of the D, Damiani’s iconic symbol, and weaves it with gold and semi-precious stones. Pink gold and white agate for two rings of different sizes, each with a little diamond laterally, a pendant and a necklace, a bracelet with chain and lastly a beautiful pendant earring add to the collection. Hammered yellow gold has been used for a pendant and a ring that always has a small external diamond. Lastly, the line includes a more precious version in white gold with diamond pavé and black onyx, available as a ring, with a central element in onyx and lateral full diamond pavé, a pendant, a necklace, a bracelet and earrings.
The creative idea reworks part of the D of Damiani which turns into large elements for giant bracelets. It will be available in three versions – white or yellow gold with pavé of white diamonds, and pink gold with pavé of brown diamonds. Completing the collection, and in the same shades of gold and diamonds, are long earrings and pendant with chain.
The Mimosa Masterpiece 2013 has two new versions – in white gold with Tahiti pearls, diamonds and sapphires in all shades of blue proposed with a necklace, a pair of pendant earrings, a bracelet and a ring. The pink gold version is embellished with Tahiti pearls set with pink sapphires and diamonds for a necklace, a bracelet and a pair of slightly pendant earrings.
The Springtime collection has harmony of lines and tones for a poetic, romantic masterpiece jewellery collection inspired by a flowery meadow. Different flowers and little buds interweave together and around a circle to create a complete, varied collection of rings, earrings in two sizes, bracelets, pendants and a necklace. It is launched in white, pink and yellow gold with diamonds and sapphires in all its shades of colours.
All eyes, however, are on the Sophia Loren collection, which pays homage to the beauty and charm of the greatest Italian star. Seven unique new pieces enhance the Sophia Loren collection, which combine the design with the soft curves of a circle and the strength and purity of diamonds. Damiani has made this collection even more special by adding a bracelet, ring and earrings in two versions – pink gold and diamonds and white gold and diamonds. The beautiful choker in pink gold and diamonds is set on a black silk ribbon.
