Stepping ahead with its philosophy of offering vegan and cruelty free products, skincare brand 82°E introduces its sixth product – Turmeric Shield. A much-needed staple for summer skincare routine, Turmeric Shield is a soothing SPF 40+ sunscreen serum formulated with turmeric and ceramides.

Dr. Rachna Rastogi, Head – R&D – Skincare, at 82°E, said, “Sunscreen should be a part of everyone’s daily skincare routine, even if you are indoors. During our research, we focused on creating a formulation that is easy to use and high on efficacy. With the healing properties of turmeric and ceramides, Turmeric Shield’s hydrating, fragrance-free formulation protects against skin damage caused by UVA/UVB rays due to sun exposure. Certain ingredients in the formula are also known to offer protection from blue light.”

According to the official statement, Turmeric Shield has a fast-absorbing formulation that gives the skin a brighter look, without leaving that much abhorred white cast. Turmeric is a potent and essential ingredient which is known to revive dry and dull skin by protecting it against dirt, dust, and pollution while ceramides help to replenish the skin’s natural lipid levels to trap moisture in the skin and protect the skin’s barrier against damage caused by harmful external elements.

Encased in a 30 ml bottle, the smooth sunscreen serum is available exclusively on 82°E’s official website.
