Designer Anjul Bhandari celebrates the festive season with the Chand Mati collection

The ethereal collection will be found in Ensemble, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai, and Ogaan, New Delhi.

Once again, pursuing its love for traditional embroideries, Anjul Bhandari’s eponymous label has skillfully introduced a festive collection infused with Chikankari and Mukaish. Titled, “Chand Mati,” soft, muted neutrals with a subtle infusion of ivory and gold take center stage in the collection.

This collection encapsulates the splendor of Chikankari embroidery fused with timeless imprints and cherished heirlooms. Chikankari, the heart of this collection, unfolds in a symphony of beige-gold tones, reminiscent of the earthy ‘mati.’ It is adorned with zero-sized square sequins and half-cut Swarovski pearls, carefully sourced from Austria, lending the garments an ethereal aura, akin to glistening dewdrops adorning the entire ensemble.

Each piece in this collection is a limited edition heirloom, meticulously designed in beloved styles such as Anarkali, palazzo sets, asymmetrical jackets, peshwas, and sarees.

These styles exude a regal, yet understated charm, embodying minimalistic glam while preserving the allure of time-honored craftsmanship.
