April 5, 2016: Leading home décor brands, Diesel Living and Iris Ceramica teamed up to create five new collections of floor and wall coverings, to be unveiled on April 13, 2016 at Milan Design Week.
Designed by Diesel Style Office and executed by Iris Ceramica, the novel interior offerings exhibit a strong industrial touch and a distinct metropolitan feel. All five lines – Concrete, Industrial Glass, Camp, Stage and Hard Leather – reinterpret the urban, infusing it with disparate moods, colors and textures that bring out the edgy personality of the modern.
Part contemporary, part quaint, Concrete offers a daring, austere option for decorating the most intimate spaces. It, in a way, complements the hard lines and metal cuts of Industrial Glass, which places the typical outdoor industrial windows under the confines of the home.
Away from the rigidity of the city, Camp runs wild with forest green and tarpaulin, reminiscent of the military. Stage slips into the structured, dented finish of the theatrical stage, giving homes a dramatic character. Hard Leather, on the other hand, strikes an equilibrium between the harsh and soft.
The Diesel Living with Iris Ceramica collections also feature collaborations with Moroso (furniture), Foscarini (lighting), Scavolini (kitchens and batherooms), Seletti (home accessories) and Berti (wood floors).
