Dior to launch Poison Girl EDT in February 2017

Dior Poison Girl EDT 2017January 6, 2017: Playing on the seducing quality of flowers and freshness of oranges, Dior’s new Poison Girl EDT aims to set win hearts.

Juicy iced citrus fruits pop in conquering, quivering head notes. An ice-cool duo sees fruity, Sicilian Sweet Orange blend with the effusive and ultra-potent Calabrian Bitter Orange. Chosen both for their closeness and for their differences, they create a finely honed, made-to-measure freshness. The first is appealing and refreshing. The second provides powerful nuances that intensify this great freshness.

Following this sensational entrance, the floral heart unfolds. Sparkling young Neroli meets a Grasse Rose-Damascena Rose tandem. The first rose releases its peppery, honeyed power. Meanwhile, its cousin, the Turkish beauty, confirms its expressive nature. In the end, the heart remains open to its zesty beginning, helping the persistent citrus notes to shine on.

In Poison Girl's emblematic signature, a Vanilla caress blends with the soft attractive notes of Tonka Bean, warming this armful of flowers. Vanilla, sweet and ever so slightly unpolished, is tantalizing and seductive. “Poison Girl Eau de Toilette is constructed around a hot/cold duality. It's a game of seduction with citrus head notes that "pop," and whose presence is strongly felt alongside a really powerful floral heart, wrapped in a vanilla Tonka Bean. This composition is a balance in which sensual notes, such as Grasse Rose Absolute, stand out and dance a brilliant solo,” said François Demachy, Dior Perfumer-Creator.
