Well known for its horological mastery, Tag Heuer showcased its latest novelties at the fifth annual edition of LVMH Watch Week in Miami. Following the success of last year, the brand exhibited its creative flair with the introduction of nine intriguing timepieces across the Carrera, Aquaracer, and Connected collections.
Speaking of the assortment, the stand-out piece is the Tag Heuer Carrera Chronograph Dato. It is inspired by the iconic DATO layout and embraces a teal green monochrome aesthetic of racing cars from the 1920s to the 60s. This timepiece is a tribute to the brand’s esteemed racing legacy, embracing a Glassbox design with enhanced ergonomics.
Up next is the Tag Heuer Carrera Chronograph tourbillion. The Tourbillon Glassbox watch draws inspiration from the design ethos and teal green color of the latest TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph. Distinguishing itself, it features a dial elevated by a 6 o’clock aperture, unveiling a mesmerizing tourbillon cage.
Capitalizing on the new Carrera’s curved sapphire crystal and fluid design, the tourbillon’s grace is now observable from various angles. The dial exhibits subtly curved flange and indexes, mirroring the crystal’s edge, and elevating the watch’s elegance. This intricate timepiece seamlessly merges aesthetic innovation with horological prowess, encapsulating TAG Heuer’s commitment to both design and craftsmanship.
Both the watches are powered by in-house caliber Heuer 02 automatic movement and have an 80-hour power reserve.
The Tag Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph watches boast five distinct dials, honoring the Aquaracer series’ adventurous essence. The first three are mother-of-pearl dials, including a diamond variant, tailored for Solargraph technology, and the other two are deep blue and polar blue dials.
Another highlight is the new Carrera Date Plasma Diamant d’Avant-Garde. This year, it introduced yellow diamonds. Following the pink version at Watches & Wonders 2023, this innovation exemplifies TAG Heuer’s commitment to pushing boundaries and hints at the broader usage of colored lab-grown diamonds in future luxury watches.
TAG Heuer merges its classic mechanical watch designs into connected timepieces with three new watch faces for the TAG Heuer Connected Watch, drawing inspiration from its iconic collections: Carrera, Aquaracer, and Formula 1.
The Calibre E4 presents three unique green-themed watch faces, Mirage, Prism, and Chromatic – now available to enhance the elegance of other E4 watches. Offering over 20 watch face options and thousands of potential combinations, the watch accommodates a wide range of styles. Featuring various shades of green that echo the bezel, these watch faces provide a subtle sense of movement while maintaining an elegant aesthetic.
In addition to these horological delights, Tag Heuer also unveiled a new eyewear collection, marking another step in the brand’s commitment to innovative design and craftsmanship.
