Originally recognized for its meticulous restoration of old Land Rover Defenders, ECD has diversified its portfolio to include classics like the Land Rover Range Rover, Jaguar E-Type, and Ford Mustang, each exemplifying its signature blend of timeless design and modern innovation, and FJ now joins its esteemed lineup.
The classic Toyota FJ retromod embodies this ethos, offering enthusiasts a thrilling combination of heritage aesthetics and cutting-edge performance enhancements.
ECD Auto Design’s classic Toyota FJ retromod redefines adventure with a Chevrolet 6.2L V8 engine and 6-speed automatic transmission, promising robust performance. Engineered for reliability, it features an upgraded fueling system with braided stainless steel PTFE lines and a high-performance aluminum cooling system.
The vehicle boasts a full stainless steel exhaust system, heavy-duty axles, and upgraded suspension for enhanced off-road capabilities. ECD’s full disc brake conversion ensures superior stopping power, making the FJ a standout in both style and substance, set to thrill enthusiasts with its blend of iconic design and modern engineering prowess. Having said that, the FJ will be fully customised as per customer demands.

Built from 2006 and discontinued in 2022, Toyota FJ enthusiasts will have a chance to grab this adventure piece with their own signature style.
ECD is now accepting client registrations for its eagerly awaited FJ models, slated to commence production in late Q3, 2024, with deliveries anticipated by Q1, 2025. The production will align alongside ECD’s SUV line, which includes the Defenders and Range Rover Classics.
