November 26, 2010: Giorgio Armani announced the launch of its freestanding online store in China – emporioarmani.cn – which is open for business.
The first ever Emporio Armani online store was launched in 2007 in the United States, followed by a version serving the European market in June 2008 and then in September 2009 by another for the Japanese market.
At emporioarmani.cn Chinese visitors can make purchases from the season’s collections for men and women, the EA7 sports line and a selection of the Armani Jeans collection. They can also purchase accessories, watches, eyewear and jewellery.
emporioarmani.cn is completely adapted to this specific market in terms of language (Mandarin), size conversions, payment systems and currency (Yuan), with a premium delivery service throughout the country and specifically branded bags and packaging. The new online store is supported by the Yoox Group as Emporio Armani’s global e-commerce trading partner.
