April 25, 2017: Luxury fashion brand Fendi has opened a new flagship boutique, infused with the latest global concept, inside Ginza Six in Tokyo.
Spread across four floors, the boutique will showcase both men’s and women’s collections, ranging from high-end furs, ready-to- wear items and leather goods to shoes and playful accessories. The underlying concept at Fendi Ginza is Rome, the city where the Maison was founded more than 90 years ago. The facade recalls the iconic arches of the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana and is also emotionally connected to Japan’s traditional ‘Noren’ (fabric dividers).
The VIP Room located at the third floor, a first in Japan, is adorned with carefully selected furniture and a shadowy wall made of fabric and mirrors enhance the luxurious environment.
This new boutique will showcase a large artistic object, Fur Tree, created by Japanese flower artist, Azuma Makoto, whom Fendi has been collaborating with for the last two years.
To celebrate the opening of Fendi Ginza, the limited-edition “Selleria Mini Peekaboo’’ and small leather goods in the same color will also be on sale. Further, for the first time in Japan, the store will also have an exclusive furwear Made-to-Order service.
