Fendi-styled villas launched in AKOYA by DAMAC

Fendi styled villas launched in AKOYA by DAMAC

October 10, 2013: DAMAC Properties, one of Dubai’s largest luxury private developers, announces a unique collaboration with Italian luxury house Fendi, to develop fashion-styled interiors in exclusive villas at the AKOYA by DAMAC master development in Dubai.

Set on an island in the heart of the 28 million sq ft project, overlooking the Trump International Golf Club in Dubai, the Fendi-styled villas will have full golf course views and are the first mansions developed in Gulf area. Using Fendi Casa designs and influences, the villas will offer a new concept for refined living.

Each villa will be uniquely designed by Fendi’s specialist interior designers, to offer a contemporary home for the most prestigious living experience. Mr Pietro Beccari, President and CEO of Fendi, said, “Experimentalism; eclecticism; a layering of materials are some of the defining elements of the Fendi-interpretation of the living space. The carefully studied rhythms of the composition, the preciousness of the materials, the painstaking attention to detail are all Fendi signatures that will be seen throughout these villas. The effect is fiercely contemporary: an expression of the moment that aims at timelessness while not forsaking history.”

Set off Umm Sequim Road and only 10 minutes drive from the main Dubai thoroughfare of Sheikh Zayed Road, AKOYA by DAMAC is a self-contained luxury master development with high end restaurants, a shopping plaza, schools, and all the amenities required of the highest developments. As many as 30,000 residents will live among the green and spacious environment, each with views of the centre piece eighteen-hole Championship standard golf course, which will be managed by the Trump organisation.

DAMAC Properties has a long-established collaboration with Fendi with the launch earlier this year of DAMAC Esclusiva in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and DAMAC Residenze in Dubai Marina.
