October 12, 2015: Luxury menswear brand, Canali, recently unveiled its not-for-profit organization, Fondazione Canali Onlus (FCO), in Milan.
Established in July 2013 and legally recognized in November of the same year, FCO was structured in such a way that it could engage in the various solidarity initiatives in which the Canali family and Group have long been actively involved in a continuous and more definitive manner.
The primary objective of Fondazione Canali Onlus is to promote and sustain projects and initiatives related to social assistance, healthcare, charity, education and professional training, also but not exclusively through contributions to specialized institutions that carry out such activities.
Till now, the foundation has supported numerous small, medium and large projects in Italy and abroad. FCO is based in Sovico (MB) and is constituted by Honorary President, President of the Foundation, Board of Directors and an auditing division.
The President of Fondazione Canali Onlus is Maria Grazia Canali, daughter of Eugenio Canali, Honorary Life President of the foundation.
Following two years of active involvement in more than 26 projects throughout the world, FCO was officially presented at the Villa Reale of Monza on September 18, 2015. All proceeds from the charity evening were donated to Comitato Maria Letizia Verga Onlus, an organization dedicated to childhood leukemia research and finding a cure. The funds raised will go toward the ‘adoption’ of the Golf Room at San Gerardo Hospital in Monza. All of the hospital’s rooms are themed and FCO has already adopted the Sartorial Room.
