February 12, 2012: With enthusiasm and excitement in the air, the stands of the race course erupted with cheers and squeals as majestic horses galloped across the lawns. In partnership with the Royal Western Indian Turf Club, Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai hosted its very own race for the second year under the title of "Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai Salver". The event was also supported by champagne house Moet & Chandon which heightened the spirits of those present.
In addition to half a million rupees for the Four Seasons Salver, guests enjoyed an afternoon of fun and flamboyance at the races. Guests were seen indulging in a smorgasbord of delectable Italian, Mediterranean and Indian fare paired perfectly with Moet & Chandon and a fine selection of wines. Mr Andrew Harrison, General Manager, Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai, commented, "It's a real privilege to showcase our brand within one of the oldest and most renowned Horseracing Clubs in the country. It gave us an opportunity to extend the Four Seasons experience outside the confines of the hotel.”
To top it all off, a Veuve Cliquot Ponsardin bottle was presented to the owner, trainer and jockey of the winning horse – Super Hero. In addition, the prize of a one night stay in the Presidential Suite at Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai inclusive of breakfast and BMW transfers was given to the winning contest member. Cheers all the way!
