Gear up for the most animated collection by revered distillery The Macallan

The Macallan crafted a myriad of statement whiskies, including a 30-year-old, for its Colour Collection.

Macallan Color Collection

The hunt for rare and exquisite whisky ends with The Macallan taking out its Colour Collection, in honor of the brand’s commitment to natural colour and sherry seasoning. The offering features five exclusive age-statement single malt Scotch whiskies, ranging from 12 Years Old to 30 Years Old, showcasing the rich natural tones produced by aging in The Macallan’s sherry-seasoned wood.

Celebrating the natural colour of whiskey, this line of rarities consists of The Macallan Colour Collection 12 Years Old; 15 Years Old; 18 Years Old; 21 Years Old and 30 Years Old.

Kirsteen Campbell, Master Whisky Maker at The Macallan, shared, “The Macallan Colour Collection is a visual celebration of our commitment to natural colour and sherry seasoning, with each of the five distinctive whiskies taking travelers through a compelling sensory journey of the remarkable spectrum of natural hues derived from maturation in The Macallan’s sherry seasoned oak casks.”

Macallan Color Collection

While the Colour Collection of 12 Years Old boasts notes of tropical fruits, candied ginger, and coffee creme, the 30 Years Old is rich in scents of tropical fruits with almonds, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

The bottle is crafted in collaboration with US graphic designer David Carson who took inspiration from Jerez, a singular land of historic vineyards and fine wines, where The Macallan’s sherry seasoned oak casks are crafted. In his studio, he came up with a special set of designs that are featured on the colorful packaging of the Colour Collection and are the focus of a marketing campaign that features his distinctive collage style.

The Colour Collection is available at The Macallan’s global boutiques as well as in airports and travel hubs worldwide.
