Glenmorangie and Ardbeg received top honours at the International Wine and Spirit Competition Awards (IWSC) and the International Spirits Challenge (ISC) 2010 recently.
Glenmorangie made a clean sweep at both forums, winning eight medals at the IWSC and nine medals at the ISC – the highest number of recognitions conferred on any single brand this year. Ardbeg won a total of 10 medals – with five honours at the IWSC and ISC each.
Award wining Glenmorangie expressions include Astar, SonnaltaPX, Signet, Quarter Century, Original, Quinta Ruban, Nectar d’Or, 18YO and Lasanta. Ardbeg winners include 10YO, Uigeadail, Corryvreckan, Supernova and Balsda.
IWSC is known as the world’s most prestigious wine and spirit award ceremony, while the ISC is known for promoting outstanding quality spirits from around the world.
