Gucci and Dover Street Market open New York shop-in-shop

Gucci - Dover Street Market, New York City

January 22, 2016: Luxury brand Gucci has opened a permanent shop-in-shop in New York City, following their initial debut at Dover Street Market in Ginza, Toyko.

Gucci’s Creative Director, Alessandro Michele, positioned this new location’s stunning design using bold camel shades paired with navy and red chevron printed wallpaper and carpeting. Vivid red panels and sophisticated velvet chairs work seamlessly with the overall look. Mr. Michele also contributes industrial aspects, mixing antique brass studs to the fabric screens and carpeting.

Pieces from the Gucci collection are dreamily placed on freestanding metal racks and velvet embellished busts. Mr. Michele has achieved a traditional yet contemporary atmosphere at Gucci Dover Street Market by flawlessly mimicking the character of the brand’s latest collections.
