Luxury brand Gucci’s first high jewelry collection, the Hortus Deliciarum, was launched in Paris back in 2019, which was followed by a second chapter presented on Italy’s Lake Maggiore in 2021. Hortus Deliciarum, meaning ‘Garden of Delights’ in Latin, blends Gucci’s rich heritage in Italian craftsmanship with vivid, dramatic designs. Gucci now adds an exclusive selection of new pieces to the third chapter of its Hortus Deliciarum High Jewelry collection, which is inspired by diverse art and travel stories from around the world.
The new additions include necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and multi-finger rings, divided in varied themes. This collection elevates diamonds, yellow sapphires, aquamarines and other precious gemstones into breathtaking high jewel pieces.
A yellow gold bracelet showcases a diamond-embellished chevron pattern and an oval-shaped 16 carat rubellite tourmaline, offering a striking geometric interplay of straight lines and smooth curves. These luminous pieces are intricately crafted with multicolored stones, including a brilliant multi-finger ring in yellow gold and diamond-embellished solitaire rings.
In an ode to Gucci’s fashion motifs, the jewellery also explores the myriad facets of the natural and animal kingdom. These pieces reveal a distant whimsical world where a selection of pieces features fresh interpretations of Gucci’s distinctive Lion Head and Tiger Head motifs, symbolizing strength, courage, and passion.
Gucci blends the modernity of a cuff style with the exquisite beauty of warm-toned gems and dainty, flowing lines in a dazzling yellow gold cuff earring studded with garnets, yellow beryl, rubellite, and diamonds.
A parure comprises a magnificent white gold necklace featuring diamond embellished starbursts trimmed with lady-like diamond bows, while the earrings reveal diamond-encrusted bows and chandelier-like crystal droplets around two teardrop cut diamonds.
