August 24, 2015: 2015 marks the year of Hennessy’s 250th anniversary, and therefore, Hennessy unveils a special blend made from specific handcrafted 250 barrels – perpetuating the tradition of celebratory blends.
Master Blender Yann Fillioux and his Comité de Degustation have selected over 100 eaux-de-vie from the House Reserve, aged from 15 to 35 years. 250 barrels, handcrafted specifically for the occasion, each containing 250 litres of this unique celebratory blend are currently resting in the mythic founder’s cellar on the banks of the Charentes. Masterfully expressed – the H250 blend is powerful, accurate and of great distinction, a unique flavor that embodies Hennessy’s 250 years of crafting the future.
In creating the contemporary silhouette of the carafe, designer Stephanie Balini draws inspiration from the sensual curves of the House’s icon. The pure lines of the sleek carafe stand in elegant contrast to its golden contents. From the base to the stopper, it reflects a radiant light as though it were cut from a single brilliant stone.
The price for this is USD $260 and is available at select retail and duty free outlets across the country.
