October 19, 2010 – As part of the Festive Hong Kong 2010, Hong Kong is launching the Hong Kong Wine and Dine Month which will begin with the Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival (October 28-31). It is slated to be a spectacular gathering of wine, food and live entertainment! This event will showcase international wines paired with food from local restaurants. The event will take place at the West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade – the perfect spot to soak up the surrounding fabulous views of Victoria Harbour.
During this celebration, Hong Kong’s major hotels and party hotspots will be offering various food and wine promotions including exclusive hotel food and wine offers, themed classes and tours, a bar hopping excursion, a wine walk as well as the Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair. Other spotlight events include Street Carnivals in Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo in Central and the Sai Kung Seafood Festival.
