January 19, 2016: The newly opened Hotel Vagabond in Singapore is the first property in Asia designed by French designer Jacques Garcia, as well as the first in Singapore to offer the ‘Artist in Residence’ program.
The rotational program allows artists to apply for up to three months of residency in a unique atmosphere centered around an appreciation of the arts. Each evening beginning at 6 PM, the hotel’s Vagabond Salon gives guests the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in art, food, and drink, all the while socializing with the residence artists.
Hotel Vagabond’s restaurant, 5th Quarter, provides guests with a five star dining experience run by award-winning Executive Chef, Andrew Nocente. Also conveniently available is Bar Vagabond, which hosts a wide-ranging selection of handcrafted cocktails, the finest wines, and an array of extraordinary teas and coffees.
