Titled ‘Ãnändå’, the mesmerizing collection serves as a cultural tapestry, invoking the rich traditions and nostalgia of South India.
The Ãnändå collection is a testament to meticulous craftsmanship. Each rug is a masterpiece, meticulously crafted from fine materials, including wool, silk and jute, among others. The use of these premium materials not only ensures a luxurious tactile experience but also contributes to the rugs’ durability, promising longevity and enduring beauty. The collection introduces 4 distinct rugs, the Malati Rug, the Bela Rug, the Maya Rug, and the Dhara Rug.
About the collection, Ms. Reddy said, “I get to reminisce the flower market I grew up by in Bangalore. It’s pure nostalgia for me. Through this collection, the idea is to make a lasting impact with bold designs while maintaining a familiar sense of home.”
The “Malati” Rug shows an elegant silhouette of an Indian woman amidst a delicate tapestry of Jasmine flowers. These beautiful blossoms shimmer in elegance. The “Bela” Rug is an intriguing affair of roses and delicate patterns. Crafted with silk and wool, it creates intricate garlands of roses, making it an ideal addition to any home.
The “Maya” Rug draws inspiration from the ancient Kolam designs ingrained in the fabric of South Indian culture. This rug weaves a vibrant narrative of hibiscus flowers with a captivating 3D effect.
