The Plume de Paon and Animal collections evoke elegance and are a reminder of Boucheron’s savoir-faire.
September 7, 2023: Kering-owned Boucheron gave an eclectic and opulent twist to its emblematic Plume de Paon for this season. With a new ten-piece collection, the jewelry house takes us on an imaginative voyage through the brand’s heritage.
For the first time, the classic feather pattern from the Plume de Paon is fashioned of titanium – making it lighter – and oxidized, giving it a striking peacock-inspired appearance with blue and green tones. The sapphires, tsavorites and tanzanites also help to achieve the color gradation. Incredibly, each strand is so light that it can flutter in itself.
The Plume de Paon's distinctive nature-centric designs are vivid. The collection includes necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings. The collection also includes white gold versions with a feather choker, earrings, ear cuffs, bracelets and more.
This season, Boucheron also invites two new animals in its Animal Novelties: a panda and cicada.
A symbol of peace and friendship, the Panda has been shaped by the Maison’s workshops to be round in every way, as it clings delicately to the finger in a ring topped with an opulent tourmaline symbolizing the Panda’s main object of desire, bamboo.
As for the delicate Cicada, it takes flight from a necklace that transforms into a brooch and a ring that stretches its wings across several fingers. The Cicada is crafted with exquisite detail, down to the delicate veins of its wings. Paved with diamonds and set with an aquamarine, the Cicada glows against the skin with a soft light.
Boucheron has also stretched Fuzzy, the leopard cat, into a pendant necklace, while Wladimir the cat adorns a bracelet and ear studs now.
So go ahead and bring the festive season in with Boucheron’s delicate life like entities!
