Cocoon Fine Rugs introduces new collection called 'Convergence'

Cocoon Fine Rugs collaborates with Daaa Haus Group for the limited edition collection to celebrate ten years

March 6, 2020: Cocoon Fine Rugs (established in Mumbai in 2009) by Ayush Choudhary is known for its sophisticated, modern interpretation of classic weaves, making rugs a contemporary style statement. As Cocoon Fine Rugs celebrates their tenth anniversary, Mr. Choudhary announced a collaboration with Malta-based designer Keith Pillow of The Daaa Haus Group to unveil a limited edition of rugs, titled ‘Convergence’. 

The designs are a convergence of the works of artist James Vella Clark’s oil on canvas series which are inspired by the landscapes of Malta.

Involving a play of shades which are vibrant, the new collection aims to bring in the breezy environs of Malta inside homes. A modern interpretation of skies and seas, the collection is unique, stylish and contemporary. 

Cocoon Fine Rugs is known for its designer collaborations such as with fashion designer Varun Bahl, Rooshad Shroff and Ashiesh Shah. Their recent collaboration has been with the czar of Indian fashion industry: JJ Valaya. Cocoon has flagship galleries in Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata, which house exclusive contemporary rugs as well as oriental carpets with a fresh twist. Cocoon’s rugs are housed by of famous celebrities such as Shilpa Shetty, Jacqueline Fernandez and Karan Johar.
