April 19, 2019: Electrified with fiery flavours of chilies and lip-tingling Sichuan peppercorns, ‘Sichuanese’ is undoubtedly China’s most thrilling regional cuisine. The heart of the local cooking style lies in the artful mixing of flavours. Chefs at ChaoBella at Crowne Plaza Today New Delhi Okhla are attempting to recreate the bold flavours from the mainland with their festival ‘Taste of Sichuan’ from April 21 to May 5, 2019.

According to the hotel’s Chef Sumit Sinha, “Only in Sichuan can one find one hundred dishes, each with one flavor, and one dish containing all the hundred flavours. The secret to latter is in cooking and flavoring each ingredient separately, or in small groupings, then combining them.”
