Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai hosts Indian food festivals this monsoon

Indian food festivalsJuly 30, 2014: Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai is employing the simplicity and delciousness of the humble Dosa and Gujarati delicacies to enjoy the monsoon.

Gujarati cuisine, often known as the ‘haute cuisine of vegetarianism’, introduces you to a colourful burst of flavours. The harmony of sweet and sour is what demarcates this popular fare. Cooked home-style, Chef Vikram Arora plates up some signature dishes – Panki, Undhiyu, Gatta Nu Shaak, Gujarati Kadhi and Shrikhand. Rich, aromatic and extremely comforting, it is a must have on a mellow monsoon day. Visit San Qi between August 11 to 25, 2014 to partake in these delicacies.

Going south, café Prato presents a festival celebrating Dosa. In addition to the usual ones like the Classic Masala and the Spicy Mysore Masala, the menu will feature a creative selection of novel dosas that derive their character from the inspiring regional flavours of India.

Don’t forget to sample the Manglorean dosa with Sago and Fenugreek, Panchratan (five lentil dosa) or the Kanchipuram with sweet and tart beetroot masala and list goes on. Available only from August 1 to 31, 2014, you don’t have much time to think!
