Gucci recognizes Florence Welch as its new ambassador for watches and jewelry
February 15, 2016: Fashion house Gucci has named British singer, Florence Welch, its jewelry and watches ambassador for 2016.
The news came at a press conference in L.A., where Ms Welch, the lead of Florence + the Machine who is nominated for five Grammys, is to attend the award ceremony adorned in Gucci.
The announcement formalized the friendship between Gucci’s Creative Director, Alessandro Michele, and the performer, who has gushed the pair bonded over their love for jewelry. At the event, Ms Welch unveiled Gucci’s latest timepiece – the G-Timeless automatic, featuring decorative bees, stars and a heat.
