Heavens Portfolio partners with Song Saa Private Island, Cambodia

February 23, 2011: Heavens Portfolio has announced a partnership with Song Saa Private Island, the first private island Resort in Cambodia. Adding a new Cambodia property to the high end selection of unique travel experiences it represents, Heavens Portfolio extends its reach to a new luxury territory.

The temples of Angkor were the prime tourism attraction in Cambodia. White sandy beaches are now also part of Cambodia’s list of must see.

Song Saa Private Island is a true feat of creativity with one very specific mission:  conservation for and through tourism.  The resort has a very specific message:  personalized, passionate, discreet and memorable. It brings together a unique resort experience that reflects the beauty of its environment, a sanctuary of elegance with intimate and luxurious design.

After more than four years of research and preparations including the work of a team of Marine Biologists and sustainable tourism experts, Song Saa is set to open in late 2011. The resort will feature 25 rainforest, beach and over-water villas built from sustainable materials, in perfect harmony with the sparkling turquoise ocean, rainforest and white sands. The resort will span the two islands of Koh Ouen and Koh Bong, connected by a footbridge over a marine reserve established to safeguard the islands’ reefs and marine life including dugongs, seahorses and exotic species of tropical fish. Completing the long list of high-end amenities and facilities is a romantic island private celebration pavilion and an environmental education center stand as unique resort features.
