Thai Street FoodNovember 19, 2013: JW Marriott Mumbai is hosting a Thai Street Food Festival, crafted by Chef Suriya Phusirimongkhonchai, from November 15 to December 1, 2013. Incorporating the Thai philosophy of harmony of flavours, Chef Suriya will recreate the street food experience with live counters in buffet style serving authentic Thai dishes.

Live counters like the Thai Barbeque station with Chicken Wings, Pomfret Fillet With Skin, Baby Mackerel, Tiger Prawns and Rock Lobster; the Soup station with Tom Yum and Tom Kha with a choice of chicken, prawns and vegetables; the Kai Yang And Crispy Pork Belly station and the Pad Thai station will add to the street food experience.

Complimented by fresh spices, appetizers like Pandan Chicken, Lemon Grass Chicken, Prawn Sesame Seed, Vegetable Spring Roll, Crab Claws, and Fried Banana and Potato will create an explosion of flavours for the palate. The Thai Bread Station will present a variety of preparations like Thai Flavored Puff Bread, Sausage Roll, Sesame Prawn Toast and Sesame Potato Toast.

Diners can also dig in at the Thai Curry station and Rice station serving Yellow, Red and Green Curry with a choice of chicken, vegetable, angus beef and prawns served with steamed jasmine rice, along with Tom Yum, Shrimp Paste, and Chicken Kaprao and Fried Egg. Not taking the category of desserts lightly, the festival showcases an extensive range of mouthwatering traditional desserts like Egg Custard, Pumpkin Pudding, Tom Tim Grob and Rice Cakes.
