The garments were unconventional marriages of style, referencing the couture of a century ago, harmonized with the present day. The collection was a mixture of 1980s shoulders and triangulated torsos from Mr Ghesquiere’s Fall 2018 collection with 18th-century sleeves and silhouettes. Featured in the collection were about 30 different types of embellishments and patchwork combinations in a collection comprising 59 unique looks.
